The Core Problem

Two systems that don't talk:

Registry - Has metadata (domains, special values, derivatives, education)
Implementation - Hardcoded match name.as_str() in 29+ locations

Registry is never used for dispatch. Adding new function = 8-10 file edits.

Exception: evaluate_function_dispatch() stays hardcoded (5-10ns performance).

What's Broken

Silent Fallbacks: sqrt(-1) returns symbolic, no error
panic! in Production: 4 locations can crash the app
